Part of the AXA Group, AXA Life Europe was established in 2005, with its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. AXA Life Europe is one of the largest cross-border life assurance companies in Europe.

We operate in a number of European countries so one of our core strengths is the technical knowledge and expertise we have developed in each of our chosen local markets. In July 2026 AXA Life Europe entered the Irish protection market for the first time underwriting Term Life Insurance and Mortgage Protection products, sold through laya life, part of AXA.

Our products are distributed through Laya Healthcare Limited trading as laya life which is now part of the AXA Group.
We also manage a closed book of unit linked life insurance products for customers across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
